Jake's coming to pump up the party |
We are asking for your help, we need pumpkins and lots of them.
On October 23rd, 2010 we'll be joining Mark Sanders in Frankford
for the Pre-RAP kick off, in honour of Julie. Cynthia and John are going
put as many pumpkins in the mini. Any guesses how many will
fit, I thinking 100 but I am also half nuts. |

About two years ago, Jake by the lake quietly sponsored Kim Pringle's (a well respected Canadian TWH coach) efforts to rescue and young, neglected Tennessee Walking horse from a near fatal outcome. Although we never promoted our efforts or spoke much about it, the horse was successfully brought back to health and was paired up with a worthy owner and it is healthy and happer than ever.
We have recently been made aware of another horse that is in need of some real optimism and care, therfore once again we have decided to pair up with Kim and lend a helping hand. Kim Pringle, with the support of Wears Jake and Jake by the Lake will give another Tennessee Walking horse a new outlook and a second change. We have renamed this 4-year old horse “Doc Holiday” and Kim will begin working with him immediately. We invite you to follow “Doc Holiday’s story as it unfolds on our Facebook fan page.
